ILO Office for Turkey publishes “Gender Equality in the World of Work” infographic

Infografik_İng sayfa için fotoILO Office for Turkey published an infographic on  “Gender Equality in the World of Work”.

The infographic is prepared to mark the 8 March 2016 International Women’s Day within the scope of More and Better Jobs for Women: Women’s Empowerment through Decent Work in Turkey” project, implemented by the International Labour Organization (ILO) and Turkish Employment Agency (İŞKUR) with the financial contribution of Sweden through the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (SIDA).

The infographic published both in Turkish and English covers data on gender inequality index, gender wage gap; five occupations where women and men are mostly employed; unregistered employment rate; labour force participation rate; participation to active labour market programmes and average time spent per day on household and family care work in Turkey.
