Trainings on Human Rights were delivered in the framework of “Supporting Turkey in the Establishment of Human Rights based Framework for the Implementation of the EU-Turkey Readmission Agreement” Project

iom-1In the framework of the “Supporting Turkey in the Establishment of Human Rights based Framework for the Implementation of the EU-Turkey Readmission Agreement” project being implemented by IOM and in cooperation with Directorate General of Migration Management, training program on “Implementation of EU-Turkey Readmission Agreement to Stateless persons and Third Country Nationals with consideration of Human Rights” was organized in Istanbul.

The trainings that aimed to enhance the capacity of related personnel of Directorate General of Migration Management and to protect the human rights of the migrants in removal centers, were delivered on 10-11-12 August and 11-12-13 August 2015.

Provincial experts, sociologist and psychologist particularly working in removal and irregular migration units of Migration Management Provincial Directorates in Aydın, Çanakkale,  Edirne, İstanbul, İzmir, Kırklareli and Van took part in the trainings that focused on human rights and international standards in implementation of the readmission system to be established with the implementation of EU-Turkey Readmission Agreement .
