Japanese Ambassador Akio Miyajima, together with UNFPA Turkey Representative Karl Kulessa visited Bulut Öncü Youth Center located in İzmir which is run by UNFPA Turkey’s implementing partner Community Volunteers Foundation (TOG) with the support of Sağlıkta Genç Yaklaşımlar Derneği / Y-Peer Türkiye.
Funded by the Government of Japan, Bulut Öncü Youth Center provides youth friendly health information, consultancy, and referral; psycho-social support, self-improvement workshops, vocational, cultural, artistic and physical activates and social skill development and social support services.
Japanese Ambassador Akio Miyajima said that “I am glad that I paid a visit to Bulut Öncü Youth Center. I became happier when I see your smiling faces. Thanks to the youth friendly health services this center provides, I hope that you will have much more peaceful lives here in İzmir.”
